Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Operator and Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting aerial inspections, capturing high-quality data, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. The ideal candidate is a certified drone pilot with a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges
Responsibilities:
Operate drones to conduct inspections in accordance with project requirements and safety guidelines.
Capture and analyze high-resolution imagery and data for inspection purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of drone technology into inspection workflows.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
Adhere to regulatory standards and obtain necessary permits for drone operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to drone equipment.
Maintain accurate records of flight logs, inspections, and data collected.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific inspection needs and deliver customized solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in drone technology and inspection
Qualifications:
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or equivalent.
Proven experience as a drone operator, preferably in an inspection or surveying context.
Proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of drone models and payloads.
Strong understanding of aerial data capture techniques and post-processing workflows.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel as needed for project deployments.
